Join us for our Yoga nights, in which we combine a nourishing practice of Yin Yoga and our Spa treatments!
Peace Yoga Studio & Wellness Center’s very own, Diane, leads the Yin Yoga class from 5:45PM-6:45PM. The Yoga class is $18.
Yin Yoga focuses on exercising the “other half” of your body, the half that essentially everyone neglects – your connective tissues (bone, tendons, fascia, ligaments, and cartilage). It’s a practice that’s designed around stillness and space – and each posture creates healthy stress that sends signals to your body to hydrate, strengthen and lengthen connective tissue. It’s also super detoxifying.
After the Yoga class, you will experience a service of your choice, as well as complimentary treatment of AVACEN100. Our services are discounted for this event specifically and guests may choose one service to experience after Yoga.
This combination is for anyone interested in relaxation, revitalization and meditation. You do not have to be a seasoned yogi to be able to do this. Likewise you do not have to be a beginner either.
The more we practice this way of being in the world, the more we reprogram our brains (seriously) to default to those types of joy-inducing thought patterns. And the more we practice Yin postures, the more we reprogram our bodies to strengthen and regenerate our connective tissue – which is basically the integrity of our whole physical structure. Pure bliss!
*Our Yoga Nights are reserved especially for you. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Appointment changes or cancellations must be given by phone during our regular business hours at least 48 hours in advance to avoid any charges for your appointments.

Diane has spent her whole adult life helping others reach their fitness and health goals. She has taught cardio, strength training, yoga and weight loss classes for over three decades. In 2011 she opened Peace Yoga Studio & Wellness Center in downtown Menomonee Falls. As a lifelong resident of the area she was drawn and committed to staying local. In 2013 Diane purchased the building on Appleton Avenue and added the Wellness component; hosting a team of practitioners within the building. Her first yoga class was in her teens with her mom at the local Rec. Center but it wasn’t until years later that she re-discovered the amazing practice of yoga. Peace was the first word that came to mind when naming the studio since that was what yoga gave her. It is Diane’s desire to offer a place where people can connect and feel part of a caring environment where they are supported in their own practice.
Reservations are mandatory for all of our classes. Because they often fill up, ensure you get into the classes you want by booking at least three weeks in advance.
We provide blocks, however we do ask that you bring your own Yoga mat. If you don’t have a Yoga mat, please let us know!
All classes must be canceled at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations within 48 hours will result in a charge to your credit card on file, or a deduction from your series. You can cancel your class by calling us at 262.408.7597 or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For the safety of yourself and others, guests are not permitted to enter class more than 15 minutes after it starts.
To avoid a rush free night, we usually recommend that guests get to the Spa no later than 5:25PM. This is so you have enough time to get yourself settled in.
Seriously, every body can do you Yin Yoga! Although every body can benefit from Yin Yoga, it is recommended for senior citizens, individuals with decreased range of motion or injury and athletes. Some teachers focus more on the science of Meridian theory in their class, others are quiet and allow you to focus your mind on the stretching. Often you will find teachers incorporating breath work into the poses (it can help when you hold pigeon for 5 minutes!).
You will most likely be on the floor the entire time in various poses, so do not expect to sweat. It is not a vigorous practice of movement. However, many individuals who are tight can expect the practice to be very challenging because often times holding a stretch for several minutes is more intense and full of sensation than a vigorous practice.
As Yin Yoga typically focuses on the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine, anyone who sits all day, has low back pain or tight hips, this practice will a great cross training to your daily life.
Going to the spa shouldn’t be stressful. So why worry? Here are some basic rules of spa etiquette. Reading these basics may help you know what to expect and help you feel more at ease so that you can comfortably enter our serene atmosphere.
We require 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment, and a credit card number is required to hold a reservation. Group reservations of 3 or more people require cancellation 48 hours in advance. Appointment changes or cancellations must be given by phone during our regular business hours at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any charges for your appointment. Missed appointments will be charged in full to the credit card with which they were held; appointments canceled within the 24-hour window will be charged 50% of the service price.
Please arrive no later than 10 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment. This time allows for a stress-free check-in and a few moments to relax in the spa. To accommodate every guest at A Better Me, we may shorten appointment times due to late arrivals.
